ADMIN & CUSTOMER SERVICE – EXPORT SEA FREIGHT

Job description:

  • Work closely with both internal and external agents to ensure the transportation of cargo is done in the most cost effective and efficient way
  • Plan the route for transporting goods overseas including booking to carriers (shipping lines), if required coordinate with customs clearance agent
  • Check & prepare all documentation to ensure details are correct and compliant with Customs requirements  
  • Ensure the goods follow overseas counterpart sop & countries’ requirements   that goods are transported quickly and efficiently  
  • Issue and manage invoices in line with company accounting procedures ensuring that all paperwork is prepared in a timely manner to coincide with accounting periods.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related field
  • At least 3 years experience international freight forwarding
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication skills, service-minded, team player and hard working
  • Computer skills Microsoft word, Excel, Power Point and Internet
  • Able to work on own initiative offering overseas partners and local customers a professional elevated level of service
  • Able to see jobs through from start to finish
