CHIEF MERCHANDISING MANAGER

Responsibilities :

  • The Chief Merchandising Manager manage The budget and assortment planning process to deliver brands of company promise in the most efficient manner
  • Responsible for factory planning of all categories
  • Responsible for Distribution process
  • Manage and follow up the entire "Brands Mercahndising pre-season planning process" along with subscribed templates, detailed, analytics and required signoffs and necessary documentation
  • Follow up and own season overall sales bugget (Value, Quantity) and GM planning for OpCo and across distribution for all categories Classification, category segments, channels, price level optimizing for consumer promise and improving on KPI's
  • Plan and manage OTB budget across pre-seasson order, in season re-order, NOOS along
  • Set and astablish risk budget assessment (H,M,L) ceiling (e.g. High risk capped ar 8%) across datailed sub-category, price point, classification level
  • Understand from store operations size, type of new store opening and store closure to plan assortmentand budget planning per store
  • Understand from Finance, macroeconomic drivers, retail sector groth in demand planning process
  • Plan and forecast sales, stock, SOR, Markdown weekly, monthly and manage in-season activities to reach season revenue, GM, SOR, Markdown target
  • Evaluate and document learning from previous seasons at article level. Review with Chief Merchandising, Collection Team, Country Manager, document report
  • Invest time and effort in tracking competition; device strategy and tactics to differentiate and enhance brand promise
  • Define set season assortment strategy framework of line, Quantity per line detailed across category/classification/price point level
  • Work with Collections Team to ensure assortment strategy reflects Brand Strategy of Style, Comfort an Wow pricing (next best, define and agree next best in Local OpCo with CM, regional President)
  • Provide periodic and clear guidenlines to buying Team in Product range Building (assortment strategy framework, historical performance, competation analysis, learning from other markets)

  • Work with the Collections Teams to finalize season product range along with the detail for each product on the article master (own the article master prosess ensuring high accuracy detailing product attributes and grading
  • Agree with the Collections Manager on Article arrival schedule and ensure timely dictribution to point of sales
  • Sign off on each product, QTY, per style, arrival schedule
  • Own and manage the shoe-line process including geeting feedback from store managers, customers, internal review and report
  • Standarizereporting template, defenitions as per thr "Brand Merchandising Process"
  • Prepare own weekly, monthly, and seasonal Merchandising KPI dashboard
  • Schedule and weekly, "trading review" meeting with OpCo management, document action item,and follow thru
  • Prepare and lead monthly merchandising KPI review session with Global
  • Leverage global tools/solutions to improve local planning/analytics and decision making
  • Provide Marketing and Visual Merchandise teams necessary key products details to build stories around, highlight technologies, provide product details which expected to drive volume
  • Work with Store operations and supply team to ensure prompt and fast delivery and re-order timing and process with stores

Requirements :

  • Degree or diploma in management, administration, retailing, sales or any relates field
  • 3-5 years experience in the retail industry (have to from footwear industy)
  • Should possess good written as well as verbal communication skills in english
  • Should be a good team leader and possess the ability of keeping the employee motivated
  • Willing to be placed at South Jakarta
