VISUAL MERCHANDISING - RETAIL

Lead the planning, development and execution of local market on Brand Environment directives and strategy.

Description

  • Provides clear direction on campaign BE plan for franchisee/partners optimal execution.Take through plan with key counterparts at franchisee/partner level.
  • Insights to action. Leverage shopper research a finding to fine-tune in market execution.
  • Provide training to District Managers and in some cases Store Managers to guarantee a clear direction.
  • Follow up on VM executions on floor monthly and provide feedback to DM's and Store Managers.
  • Review floor plans for renovations, openings in both channels and work on approvals with store development teams on a timely manner.
  • Define the flow & layout within the regional approvals. Review needs from retail operations & merchandising capacity to guarantee the best strategy by channel.
  • Drive collaboration with Retail, Wholesale and Merchandising team to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Understand changes to BVPs, DDGs, product architecture and focus that would impact VM of the brand.
  • Provide direction in terms of vendors, pricing, quality and strategy to VM's on window and in-store components for both retail and wholesale according to tiering and segmentation.
  • Timely reports of BE activity and competitive activities to AMA BE and local marketing lead.
  • Budget management - drive cost efficiency across design, production, delivery and installation process.

Profile

  • Tertiary education specializing in Visual Arts, Design or equivalent.
  • 5 years similar work experience in Visual Merchandising, Advertising and other creative work.
  • Experience with fashion or retail industry preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of the retail environment; and retail presence/store planning concepts.
  • Previous experience working on brands/brand management is ideal.
  • Adept in the use of graphic/design software.
  • Good project management skill, but also capable to be hands-on. Able to plan, execute as well as delegate tasks.
  • Understanding of new media channels such as digital marketing.
  • Able to train, develop and empower his team. A team player but also able to work independently.
