Technical Operation Supervisor
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be proactive communicate with overseas inspector and affiliate for project preparation schedule, availability inspector, and deliverable project operation.
  • Manages report to ensure turnaround times are met while maintaining report quality that meets or exceeds project/technical standards.
  • To monitor day to day technical operations with respect to Turn Around Time.
  • To support and assist business manager to implement the policies of the organization and achieve the goals and objectives of the Quality Management System.
  • Ensure compliance and comply with SGS Global Standards and give the report to Business Manager anything if there are findings for improvement in procedures or complaints.
  • Support the Technical team to review report
  • To ensure QHSE of the Inspection comply with the SGS Global Standards
  • To ensure that technical meets customer requirements in terms of quality.
  • Running the technical inspection and monitoring the day to day activities of the technical.
  • Creating proper work environment for the personnel by addressing individual and common concern.
  • To ensure that all process personnel concerned with Inspection, testing and calibration activities familiarize themselves with the ISO/IEC 17020, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and QHSE 18000 quality system, and implement in their work in accordance with the documented policy and procedures of the quality system.
  • To ensure that any nonconformity has been closed out with appropriate corrective and preventive action, and to follow up its effectiveness with respect to the action(s) taken.
  • To maintain the standards library and control all inspection standards, specifications and test methods and controlled documents.
  • To plan and organize the regular technical audits, technical standards, procedures, equipment and staff and make appropriate recommendations for improvement.
  • To support Industrial management team in preparing of technical documents required for bid tender
  • To support Sales team in technical advice as required.
  • To assist Business Manager in developing and control Quality of Procedure.
  • Support any other duties requested by Industrial Business Manager related with Industrial Division process
  • At all times, adopt a safe behavior by exercising due regard for the health and safety of SGS employees and clients, in line with SGS policies and procedures
  • At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct

  PROFILE REQUIREMENT
  • Min Degree in Technical, Science and strong Technical background preferred.
  • Min 10 years’ experience in Technical QA/QC Inspection and QMS 
  • Good command in English, both oral n written
  • Computer literate
  • Willing to travel when required
  REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Able to coordinate and motivate a team towards a common goal.
  • Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
  • Able to interact with all levels of management, suppliers, and clients.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Acts quickly and decisively; able to make tough calls.
  • Works well under-pressure, challenges status quo.
  • Good knowledge for Quality Management System
  • Good knowledge for API Standard for API 570 API 510 API 653, NDT Procedure.
  • Good knowledge for ATEX, COMPEX
