About the role

We are seeking a technically strong and customer-focused EBU Engineer to join our Jakarta team. The role involves delivering simulation projects in the electronics domain, providing technical consulting support, and assisting in pre-sales activities related to electronic and electromagnetic applications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform simulation and analysis in Electromagnetic (EM) simulations, Signal Integrity (SI) / Power Integrity (PI), PCB and high-frequency simulations, and electronics thermal management

• Develop and validate simulation models using ANSYS Electronics tools

• Support customers in product development through simulation-driven design optimization

• Provide technical troubleshooting and solution recommendations

• Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to clients

• Assist sales team in pre-sales discussions, solution demonstrations, and technical proposals

• Conduct customer training sessions and technical workshops

• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards

About you

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or related Engineering discipline

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics simulation

• Strong knowledge of electromagnetics, high-frequency design, PCB design fundamentals, and thermal management in electronics

• Hands-on experience with ANSYS HFSS / SIwave / Maxwell / Icepak (preferred)

• Experience with other EM tools (CST, ADS, etc.) – added advantage

• Experiences in ANSYS MotorCAD

• Understanding of EMI/EMC compliance, power electronics simulation, and RF design fundamentals

• Ability to troubleshoot convergence and modelling challenges

• Experience in consulting, R&D, or engineering services preferred

• Exposure to industries such as electronics manufacturing, automotive electronics, telecommunications, or semiconductor is an advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, good communication and presentation skills, ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly, customer-oriented mindset, fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
