About the role

We are seeking an experienced Kepala Produksi (Garment) to join our manufacturing facility in Bandung Regency, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all production operations at our garment manufacturing plant. As Production Head, you will be responsible for ensuring that all production targets are met whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This leadership position is integral to the success of our manufacturing operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver exceptional products to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all daily production activities and ensure production schedules are met on time and within budget

• Manage and coordinate production planning and scheduling to optimise workflow and resource allocation

• Supervise production staff and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and quality standards

• Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout the production process

• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and inefficiencies to improve overall productivity

• Maintain comprehensive production records and generate regular reports on production metrics and performance

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across the production facility

• Liaise with other departments including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance to ensure seamless operations

• Conduct training and development programmes for production team members to enhance skills and competencies

• Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate with technical teams for optimal machinery performance

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in garment production management or similar manufacturing environment

• Proven track record in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management

• Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes, machinery, and industry best practices

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

• Proficiency in production management software and systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

• Knowledge of quality control standards and compliance requirements within the garment industry

• Excellent communication skills in Indonesian and preferably English

• Certification or training in production management, lean manufacturing, or six sigma is desirable

• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining focus on multiple priorities
