Key Activities:

  • Oversee the daily activities of the Surabaya office
  • To co-ordinate with the respective departments at the head office in Jakarta and the principal’s business units to ensure the effective management & compliance of the organization’s guidelines, procedures & objectives
  • Manage the sales, customer service, logistics & operations department to ensure that the company’s objectives are met
  • Ensure that the team is complying with KPI’s set by the company
  • Work together with the sales team to develop new customers and maintain existing customers
  • Develop and communicate with the sales team on sales strategies on how to continuously develop and deliver the companies’ products & services to the customers
  • Prepare and submit the necessary reports within the set dateline

Key Qualities:

  • Possess a high level of maturity, integrity & consistency
  • Able to maintain composure when working under pressure
  • Evaluates, discusses & consults to make prompt & effective decisions
  • Creates a high-performance culture
  • Able to communicate effectively in English with peers and overseas counterparts


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Managerial position in the shipping industry
  • Sales experience is a must
  • Candidates who are presently working in Jakarta but wish to be stationed in Surabaya are also welcome to apply
  • Degree holder
