  • Degree in Human Resource Management / Psychology/ Law/ Business Adminstration, Industrial Engineering
  • Min 5 years experiences as Head of HR, preferably from manufacturing industries experience
  • Deep knowledge about HRD generalist and General Affair.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Well presented, Organized, good communicator, attractive, flexible, fast learner, dedicated and independent, and able to follow instruction
  • Be able to work hard to meet deadlines and work well with the team
  • Good Computer literate (Ms Office, Internet, Email, etc)
  • Good knowledge of expatriates documentation
  • Would be placed in Gresik, Jawa Timur

Job Description:

  • Manages and oversees HR policies and practices for Business Units and projects outside the corporate office.
  • Provides a broad range of HC strategic and tactical interventions to help the company attract, develop and retain talent in an innovative, competitive and cost effective manner
  • Has a good understanding of the staffing guide, job level table, benefits program and salary scales.
  • Interview and implement assessments according to the company’s screening process and provide Business Unit Heads with feedback as required
  • Ensure an orientation program is conducted for each person on the first day or employment and follow-up within 2 weeks of employment to assess how the new employee has adapted to his/her new environment
  • Ensure each new employee is expalined the content of the Employee Handbook. Train managers in understanding the content and the application of the Employee Handbook in the work environment
  • Ensure observance of policies, procedures, practices and operating routines, including management controls.
  • Follow-up on unauthorized absences and frequent tradiness with employees and their supervisor concerned and take disciplinary action as applicable
  • Monitor leave management
  • Ensure employee records are up-to-date, accurate and comprehensive.
  • Ensure employee status changes are recorded accurately and circulated for approval timely prior to processing
  • Ensure the HR MIS is populated with relevant data with regards to the workforce for which he/she is responsible. Discuss reports and relevant statistics with Business Unit Heads and client as required and plan corrective action.
  • Actively participate in Employee Handbook content review exercises
  • Maintain up-to-date organization charts, job descriptions and employee specifications
  • To manage and make payroll calculation, overtime. To controll in payroll administration orderliness.
  • Reconcile timesheets and leave records
  • Maintain and update staff medical claims
  • Ensure all staff receive appraisals in accordance with company policy and monitor probationary periods.
  • Extract training needs from appraisal results for inclusion in company training plans
  • Implement and maintain a corrective action and disciplinary philosophy and procedure that reflect fair and effective HR practices.
  • Attend disciplinary interviews and sign as witness for written warnings
  • Corporate Asset Management and updating Finance and Management on status and condition of Assets
  • Recruit and train a strong HR team
  • To provide leadership, direction and motivation to those staff, and to ensure that they clearly understand their responsibilities
  • Undertake the perfomance review of team members according to corporate standards and schedule
  • Agree, communicate and monitor clear perfomance targets and objectives, which have to be achieved by team members
  • Recommend employment, promotion, professional advancement opportunities or salary recommendation of staff in accordance with scope of responsibilities.
