RETAIL OPERATION MANAGER

Responsibilities :

  • To make sure that the assigned budget for the current year both in pair and turn over are met
  • To operate the Retail Department efficiently and profitably
  • To roll out new store opening in areas where we are not present yet
  • To refit existing store in order to upgrade our offering and provide a better marketing experience to our customer
  • To monitor the operational aspect of business in each store such as: visual merchandising, customer service, store outlook, reporting
  • To become facilitator to give support and counseling to overcome the operational issue in the store
  • To be the referring contact in giving direction both to SOM and DSM
  • To plan, direct and control the selling activities of the Department
  • To plan and roll put monthly in store promotions, marketing campaign and advertising
  • To implement regional campaign following layout provided by the Singapore Head Office
  • To constantly monitor stock level in each single store ensuring that the right stock is provided in the right store
  • To audit and measure progress towards achievement through personal visit to stores, districts, and through reports weekly prepare by district manager
  • To review sales productivity of SOM District Managers and retail dealers ensuring that the set goals area are achieved
  • To ensure that each quarter physical price inventory is taken in each store and up loaded into RIMS
  • To propose on anually basis income level and incentive for department personnel, submitted for approval to the company manager
  • To work closely with the audit team to monitor and control our retail network at least 3 times during the year by sending in each store auditors for personal visit Working closely with the real estate in order to explore areas where will be suitable for us to opening new stores

    To participate at the seasonal meeting in order to always be aware of what is happening in the Indonesia market 
  • Coordinate the preparations of the monthly store profitability analysis per single district to be distributed to respective district manager and SOM for their corrective actions
  • To minimize expenses in the store
  • To maintain furniture and layout updated working closely with our store layout department
  • To ensure that the retail personnel are submitting to our account department all the relative documentation every closing and to ensure the require level of cash for single retail dealer in their 1036 account are met
  • Establised with HR team courses to be held in the main office or locally in each single district
  • To decide with the HR personnel selection of potential retail personnel to be send out stations for courses

Requirements :

  • Degree or diploma in management, administration, retailing, sales or any relates field
  • 3-5 years experience in the retail industry (have to from footwear industy)
  • Should possess good written as well as verbal communication skills in english
  • Should be a good team leader and possess the ability of keeping the employee motivated
  • Willing to be placed at South Jakarta
