Promote a safety and healthful work environment through continuous improvement of safety and health system that results in the reduction of accidents and illness and assures regulatory compliance.
Reviews safety statistics, accidents reports, and safety audit occur through team safety meetings with employees with management to solicit suggestions for improvement and make recommendations.
Acts in an advisory capacity to the organization on regulatory compliance matters.
Investigate accidents and analyzes accident data to evaluate the effectiveness of accidents prevention and loss control program. Interprets government regulations to ensure compliance and coordinates with government agencies to negotiate terms of an agreement; complete government reports.
Conducts necessary changes in safety processes, including safety rules, practices, and training and personal protective equipment programs.
Perform on-site inspection to physical audit conditions and safe work practices.
Draft investigation and inspection reports, training guides and materials and general correspondence.
Assists with other activities as necessary to evaluate and reduce potential risks to employee health and well-being.
Interface with medical professional.
Enforce HSE sensitive policies and procedures.
Execute emergency response duties.
Interface with Risk management, Workers Comp and insurance agencies and provide the necessary documentation.
Special project or assignment as directed by management.
Bachelor’s degree with five years of related experience in Power Plant or Oil & Gas.
Having relevant certificate in HSE such as AK3 Umum and others.
Having experience sea survival in evacuation in the jetty area.
Familiar with ISO 9001 – QMS, 140001 (4500) – Environmental, 18001 – OHSAS, SMK, and Proper Environment Audit.
Through knowledge of safety principles and related government regulations.
Experience in a safety-related job in multiple environments.
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization, ability to teach and mentor others.
Written verbal and professional skills.
