ACCOUNT MANAGER FOOD & BEVERAGE B2B (INDUSTRIAL)

Function:

  • The person in charge of managing a company's relationships with its customers to achieve the respective sales budget and growth.
  • In charge of finding new business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. Tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, sales support, technical application, logistics, and timely payment of account receivable
  • Manage expectations and oversee that a customer’s needs are met in a timely fashion

Roles:

  • Manage the assigned customers, based on customer segmentation, to ensure the achievement of respective sales budget, financial target and growth objectives
  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationship with customers to ensure business sustainability
  • Communicating with customers to understand their needs and explain product values through presentations and in person meetings
  • Building relationship with customers based on trust and respect to develop a trusted advisor relationship with the customer’s stakeholders and executive sponsors, with a focus of improving the buyer experiences
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate the fulfillment of customer’s needs.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about customer behaviors
  • Monitor, analyse and forecast customer’s usage of our products and make accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes
  • Keep records of customer transactions
  • Assist complete collection of accounts receivable when there is a long delay in payment
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions to resolving complaints according to customer’s needs & objectives and preventing additional issues by improving processes
  • Identifies opportunities to grow business with both existing and new customers to always have adequate number of projects in the respective Project Pipeline to ensure sales growth in the years ahead can be maintained, hence ensuring business growth and sustainability
  • Ensuring that there are always New Wins from new projects to contribute directly to the sales growth in that particular year and in the years ahead
  • Manage and become Person-In-Charge for customer’s projects from beginning to end.
  • Identifying industry and market trends.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of initiatives and projects of assigned customers to internal stakeholders through regular communication meetings (bi-weekly meeting and sales meeting)
  • Collaborates with other personnel in the commercial team to reach prospective customers
  • Update job and market knowledge by participating in educational opportunities reading professional publications maintaining personal networks and conduct regular market survey to keep updated on trends
  • Support department and organization’s long-term target by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Implement and maintain established related procedures
  • Carry out other relevant tasks given by superiors

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure to keep the assigned customers satisfied and delivering exceptional customer service on a day-to-day basis
  • Achieving the realization of the sales budget and sales growth of the assigned customers
  • Project realization and growth of number of customers
  • Complete collection of account receivable timely

Qualifications:

  • Male or female with maximum age of 30 years old
  • Bachelor degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or related fields. Master degree will be beneficial. Strictly consideration to those education background, other education background will NOT be processed
  • Having working experiences in the related industries as Account Manager for minimal 3(three) years. Fresh graduated is considered
  • Having experiences in working with high-challenges and exceeding targets
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Willing to give extra efforts to ensure target achievement
  • Have excellent people skills and intuitive to customer's business needs and industry trends
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally
  • Calmly deal with customer complaints and issues
  • The ability to work independently and within a team
  • Good PC and software skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Proven ability to negotiate
  • Conflict resolution
