Industrial Relations Manager, East Java

This exciting opportunity of Industrial Relations Manager will be responsible to manage company's overall Industrial Relations department for the country.

A leading and respected Fortune 500 Multinational is currently seeking an Industrial Relations Manager to lead the IR team.

Description

The most vital function of industrial relations is ensuring uninterrupted production. This means that all positions of employment, from managers to workers, are always filled so that full-scale production is ongoing. Focusing on 3 critical dimensions: compliance, employee relations and external relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain good working and constructive relationships between all stakeholders both internally and externally such as: unions and union officials, relevant government bodies, other industry bodies and external parties
  • Strategically facilitate the implementation of regular meetings between management and labour
    Monitor internal and external labour relations trends and submit relevant reports to management
  • Coordinates and support the implementation of employee programs and employee relations including effective communications to employees
  • Enhance management and labour knowledge on IR related issues
  • Review, revise and advise on updates if necessary on Company Regulations/Peraturan Perusahaan (PP), Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) and labour related policies and procedures
  • Strong understanding of Dispute Settlement including managing and resolving if any
  • Review investigation report and identifies the breach/violation of related policies or procedures and provides recommended disciplinary action based on IR guidelines and practices
  • Conduct company consultation and implementation in compliance with the law
  • Assist or lead Compensation and Wage Review

Profile

Key Requirements:

  • University Degrees with significant years of experiences of around 5 years Industrial Relations and overall in generalist of more than 7 years
  • Direct and hands-on exposure dealing with unions and its officials, government bodies, and relevant parties.
  • Experiences in drafting or revising CLA, Company Regulations and Compliance
  • Experiences working in Multinationals and in
  • Experiences managing a small team
  • Business level English proficiency
  • This role requires candidate to be based in East Java area
