A newly set-up client in Indonesia is looking for a strong sales director or head of sales who is hands-on, and has the experience of leading more than 100 team members. The newly set up company will be focusing in the B2B marketplace, and with reputable investor behind them, they are planning to launch the business by 2020.

Description

The sales director of head of sales will report to the country head, and two founders, and he / she is expected to generate revenues to grow the organization. Other responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new business and generating new opportunities through users acquisitions.
  • Developing and implementing objectives, strategies and efficient sales forecasting systems.
  • Building and successfully executing client retention and client acquisitions plans.
  • Maintaining end-to-end client relationships and developing business relationship with both internal and external parties.
  • Going to the field to conduct market research and competitive analysis.
  • Ability to lead a team, including hiring and retaining the team members.
  • Preparing sales forecast, budgets and targets through various strategies.
  • Understanding the market trends, consumer behaviour, to be aligned with the market strategy.
  • Demonstrating functional competence and deep industry knowledge.
  • Achieving the set revenue target and ensuring that all projects are being completed on time.
  • Reviewing products overing, which includes pricing, product development and users experience.

Profile

Because of the highly competitiveness of the process, this role is only opened for Indonesians with excellent communication in English, and has worked in a fast-paced start-up environment. To seize the opportunity to work for this highly dynamic client, you should be/have:

  • University graduate major from Tier 1 university only.
  • Minimum of 8 years working experience in reputable fast-paced company, with at least 5 years in a leading a highly-volatile business, FMCG, in a sales function.
  • Ex-founders are also welcome to apply.
  • Excellent sales track records targeting diverse set of clients (multinational and local), across all industries.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.
  • Strong business acumen, entrepreneur, self-motivated, excellent interpersonal and adaptability, energetic and result-oriented.
  • Excellent time and project management skill with the ability to coach and mentor.
  • Excellent strong team management and leadership skills.
  • Experience in B2B or B2C are welcome to apply!
