Job Description and Responsibilities:

Provides technical assistance and analysis support for the Surface Facility Optimization Surveillance, Analysis & Investigation (SFO SA&I). Responsible for surveillance of surface equipment in the SA&I team. 

Job requirements:

  • Minimum experience 4 years or more of relevant experiences especially in oil and gas, or minimum 5 years working in the surface equipment optimization experience will be an advantage.
  • Minimum Diploma Degree with GPA: 2.75 in the area of mechanical engineering.
  • Have knowledge in production operation (plant, piping and wells) and experience in design, diagnostics, modeling and optimization of surface facilities starting from wellhead to shipping terminal to define and understand production handling capacity and the proactive, systematic optimization of those facilities.
  • Have experience in dealing effectively with a diverse group of people including management, engineering, field operations personnel and peers.  Effective in leading cross-functional teams (i.e., engineering, operations, information technology, etc.) in developing and deploying new work processes and programs. 
  • Able to clearly articulate orally and in writing with the ability to translate complex technical issues into user friendly communications. Comfortable and competent in facilitating, training and presenting to multi-discipline and diverse work groups. 
  • Able to deliver highest value results in a timely manner when implementing findings of analysis. Provide recommendations and reviews for installations/modifications of Production Operations and Fluid Handling surface facilities including MOC evaluations and scope in applicable major projects.
  • Excellence in establish effective relationships with multicultural people in diverse organization.
  • Excellence to demonstrate the highest standard of integrity and ethical conduct, and to build & maintain trust, respect and support others.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written communication) and fluency in Microsoft Office (Ms Word, Ms. Excel & PowerPoint) as well as computer literacy.
  • Have willingness to be relocated to all Company operations locations in Indonesia.

We continue to implement projects designed to sustain production, increase recovery and improve reliability from existing reservoirs. In 2016, we continued infill drilling and workover programs. Duri has been under steam flood since 1985 and is one of the world’s largest steam flood developments. In 2017, net daily production averaged 54,000 barrels of crude oil. Infill drilling and workover programs continued in 2017. Net daily production in 2018 from all producing areas in Indonesia averaged 104,000 barrels of liquids.
